Michael Allen Park, 74, was killed after being hit by a FedEx truck coming down Parleys Canyon on Friday, May 21, 2010. This fatal Utah auto accident happened at around 6:20 p.m. near 8630 East on Interstate 80 just east of Lambs Canyon, Utah. The FedEx truck was traveling down Parleys Canyon and crossed the median into eastbound traffic and hit Mr. Park’s truck head-on. Park died on the scene. The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting, that the Park was the only occupant in his vehicle and the FedEx truck and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
