Multi-vehicle Salt Lake City, Utah Auto Accident
Posted By Ron Kramer on May 20, 2010
A multi-vehicle accident involving two cars and two semi-trucks closed down a major freeway for the Thursday, May 20, 2010 commute. This multi-vehicle Salt Lake City, Utah car accident happened around 8 a.m. on Interstate 15 near 2700 South. Both semis were hauling double trailers, one for UPS and the other for a gravel company. The UPS truck’s rear trailer rolled, while one of the passenger cars ended up pinned under the front trailer of the semi. This crash started a chain reaction for the other vehicles that followed.
The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that the driver of the first truck and the driver of one of the passenger vehicles were transported to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the second truck and the other passenger vehicles were able to escape injury.
I wish all parties well who were involved in this crash.
The injured parties would do well contacting a Salt Lake City, Utah personal injury attorney. Reports say that the gravel company truck driver and the one of the passenger vehicle drivers did not need to go to the hospital. Often, it takes a few days to feel the effects from an accident. It is better to go to a doctor who can perform an X-Ray or order an MRI to make sure there are no lasting injuries from the accident. An experienced Salt Lake attorney can help these parties receive a fair value for the property damage on their vehicles and get them compensation for their accident-related injuries.
