Semi-Truck Rolls Over in Utah Trucking Accident

A tractor-trailer packed with newsprint rolls toppled on Interstate 15 near Far West, Utah on Thursday, December 3, 2009. According to Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden, the driver, a 36-year-old male and the passenger, 27, were taken to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, both are in fair condition.
Investigators believe the truck rolled after overshooting a curve causing it to crash into the median. This Utah trucking accident happened at 2:45 in the morning and scattered huge newsprint rolls over the freeway.
Best wishes to the driver of the big rig for a speedy recovery. Hopefully we can all take a lesson, especially truck drivers, to take these turns at a slower speed. Fortunately, in this case, there were no other vehicles involved.
