A fatal crash involving eight cars happened just before 1 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 8600 South in Sandy, Utah. This Sandy, Utah car crash killed one person and sent others to the hospital. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, its dispatch center received many calls just before the accident happened reporting a reckless driver near 1300 South. The driver was headed south and it is believed that the driver caused the accident at 5500 South and 7800 South before being killed in the accident at 8500 South.

According to KSL news, police do not know if this is a case of reckless driving or some type of medical emergency.

The identity of the person has not yet released and I will keep you updated as the facts come forth. I offer my condolences to the family of the deceased and my prayers to medical teams as they treat the other victims.
